THE GREAT BARRIER REEF DATA VISUALIZATION
This poster was designed to illustrate my data visualization capabilities. The poster is meant to bring environmental awareness to coral decline on the Great Barrier Reef. My goal with this design is to ensure presentation of information understandable by all audiences. Through my compositional awareness I attempt to guide the eye throughout the composition while emphasizing the most important information. My design uses typographic decisions to ensure all data are easily read and understood while remaining visually appealing. The bottom of the poster includes tear-away wrist bands with a QR code which links to an Australian government site which surveys and protects the reef and its inhabitants. The wristbands serve as a call to action and provide an opportunity for an individual to get more information on the matter, make donations, and see where and how they may be able to help.
CICADA LAYOUT DESIGN
This poster was created to help develop my compositional awareness skills. Not necessarily concerned with the presentation of information but rather the generation of visual interest. It was created by combining photography with digital assets created using Adobe software.
WOAH DUDE
This poster was designed to develop and test my skills creating visually interesting compositions swell as my skills within softwares such as photoshop indesign and illustrator. I designed this poster to test my abilities generating assets, managing colours and combining photography techniques with digital editing and composition creation.
