BIOGRAPHY
Everything around me is an art form waiting to be recognised. My creations are the translations of these forms brought to life by my ability to experience them. Filtered through my senses, composed by my perception, and exposed by my ability to express conscious thought, my only hope is that they get the recognition they deserve.
I am a Canadian artist and designer whose works are primarily concerned with themes of nature, music, and explorations of consciousness. Born on the 17th of March 2003, I have experimented with and learned to utilise various forms of media, and with my studies of design at OCADU, have generated numerous captivating works. To me, art is the best way of describing and communicating one’s experiences through individual perception.
My artistic journey began with traditional media practices such as drawing and painting. The inspirations that lead to my stylistic preferences include my travels, childhood, and exposure to nature, my family’s interest in the sciences and my experiences with psychedelics. The intentions behind most of my artwork is to instill appreciation for life and the nature of the universe. Some, but not all, of my works confront personal issues, world problems and areas of life which require significant change. I hope to generate connections among people who view my artwork based on shared appreciations and perceptions.
My media explorations so far include drawing and painting, sculpting, photography, digital art, graphic design/typography, print making, video, and motion/time-based media.
As I grow as an artist and designer, I will continue to branch out and experiment with more processes and types of media. As an artist who explores many themes and ideas, I do not have preferences towards specific media or techniques but adopt whatever best represents my intentions and inspirations.
I am my art. Those who have seen my work have met me before. We’ve had wordless conversations, exchanged ideas, and impacted one another on unseen levels. I encourage you to take a moment, converse with my work, exchange ideas and interpretations, and let us grow through contemplative thought. I have a strong appreciation for those who get to know me through experiencing my creations.
